Rugby football, as a catch-all term, may refer to two related but separate sports: rugby league and rugby union.

This category is for articles about rugby football prior to the 1895 schism that split the sport into the modern games of rugby union and rugby league and for articles about sports that are related to rugby but are neither rugby union nor rugby league.
