Rufford, Lancashire

Rufford is a village in West Lancashire (grid reference SD458155). It is a popular village with commuters. It lies at a point where the Leeds and Liverpool Canal (Rufford Branch), the Liverpool, Ormskirk and Preston Railway, the A59 and the River Douglas all meet.

Rufford Old Hall is a National Trust building situated in Rufford. This stately home was originally home to the Heskeths.

Rufford has its own parish council, which also covers the neighbouring village of Holmeswood.
