Ruffin, North Carolina

Ruffin is an unincorporated community located in Rockingham County, North Carolina. It is northeast of Reidsville, North Carolina and southwest of Danville, Virginia just off US 29 (Future Interstate 785). It has a population of 2,116. Neighboring communities and municipalities include Reidsville, Eden, Pelham, Casville, and Wentworth. Ruffin boast it's Whistlestop Jubilee every fall. It has the Ruffin Methodist Church, Ruffin Stacy Baptist Church and a few others in the community. W.L. Pryor is the un-offical Mayor of Ruffin [1].
