Rude Boy (film)

Rude Boy is a 1980 film about a roadie for the punk band The Clash. The movie was named after the rudeboy subculture. It was released on DVD in the US for the first time on August 1, 2006.

The film followed the fortunes of "Rude Boy" Ray Gange, who leaves his job in a Soho Sex Shop to work as a "roadie" for legendary punk rock band The Clash. The film takes the viewer through the "Sort It Out" tour, the recording of "Give 'Em Enough Rope", and the bands famed appearance at the "Rock Against Racism" event at Victoria Park.
