Ruddy

Ruddy is a reddish or rosy colour, usually considered a dirty, dusty or dark-coloured reddish orange. It can also mean a shade of orangey brown, like the colour found on the Ruddy Duck, or even a rich red. 'Ruddy' can also be reffered to as an absolute "LAD" or "LEGEND"

In the United Kingdom and some other parts of the Commonwealth, "ruddy" is also used as a mild expletive attributive (rather like "dang" or "darn") in place of the more offensive "bloody".
