Ruchir Punjabi

Ruchir Punjabi has been the Co-Convenor and the Spokesperson for the Cross Campus Concessions Coalition of NSW since May 2006^[1]. He played an active role in the campaign for transport concessions for International Students in NSW in 2006.

He has been the International Students Officer at the University of Sydney Students' Representative Council since September 2005^[2]. He has also been serving as the Education and Welfare Officer of National Liaison Committee for International Students in Australia - NSW Branch since July 2006. Inspite his role with the National Liaison Committee for International Students in Australia, he has criticised the organisation because of its existence as National Liaison Committee faction in the local student politics^[3].

He was formerly a member of the National Organisation of Labor Students (NOLS), prior to the merger of that faction with Australian Labor Students in late 2005, leading to the formation of the National Labor Students faction.
