Ruby Dome, the highest peak of the Ruby Mountains and Elko County, is located in the northeast portion of the state of Nevada in the western United States. It rises from a base elevation of about 6000 feet to a height of 11,387 feet (3470 m). It is located at 40°37.3'N and 115°28.5'W, about 21 miles southeast of the community of Elko.
