Ruben Brown (Born: February 13, 1972) is an NFL lineman who currently plays for the Chicago Bears. His brother, Cornell Brown, also played in the NFL.[1]
Brown gained notoriety as the starting left guard for the Buffalo Bills. He was regarded by many as one of the best interior lineman in football. Brown was named to eight consecutive AFC Pro Bowl teams from 1996 to 2003, though in his final year he was deemed by many to have been selected based on reputation not merit.
In the final game of the 2003 season, the Bills sent Brown home, causing him to miss his first start since 1999. Brown was released by the Bills after the 2003 season, and signed with the Bears. In 2004 Brown started only nine games due to injuries.
