Rubén Zamora

Rubén Zamora Rivas is a social democratic politician in El Salvador. In the first presidential election following the Salvadoran civil war in 1994, Zamora was the presidential candidate for the leftist coalition that included the former guerrilla Farabundo Marti Natioanal Liberation Front. In subsequent years he has run for office with various incarnations of center-left parties, such as the Centro Democratico Unido (CDU - United Democratic Center).
