[edit] Bili?
What is the source that the ruan was called "bili"? Bili is generally the alternate name for the guan (instrument), a type of oboe. Badagnani 03:31, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Meaning of "Ruan" surname?
What did the "Ruan" surname mean before Ruan Xian invented the instrument "ruan"? The Wiktionary entry doesn't say. Badagnani 19:47, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merge from zhongruan
- Support merge from zhongruan. There isn't really enough information about the various specific sizes of ruan to warrant separate articles (as there is, for example, for the violin, viola, and cello). Badagnani 03:54, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Strongly Disagree. The Ruan's are as different as the violin, viola, and cello. Just because there is not enough information YET, does not mean it does not warrant a seperate article. Wenzi 04:22, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
It has been three week. The merge tag should be removed Wenzi 10:39, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
