[edit] Location

The main page mentions several times that Royal Roads is in Victoria. It is not. It is in Colwood, two municipalities (Esquimalt, View Royal) west from Victoria. Royal Roads tries very hard to hide this little fact. Just look at their website or any promotional material they produce. Then look at a map. They are relatively new university college and are trying to get enrollment any way they can. So they try to trick University of Victoria students into taking a few classes at Royal Roads. By the way, the University of Victoria is not in Victoria either, it is half in Saanich and half in Oak Bay --maclean25 05:56, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

I think this is splitting hairs. If it's a suburb of Victoria, it doesn't matter. This sounds like a POV rant that really doesn't benefit the article. -- Spinboy 06:48, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
  • It is a rant. That is why I didn't change the article and just voiced it here. I erased the Victoria category because that is just wrong. Your reverting an edit to put incorrect info into an article does not help either. You may need a better justification than "it's a suburb" and "it doesn't matter". Simon Fraser University is closer to Vancouver than Royal Roads is to Victoria, yet it is not in the Vancouver category (although that is probably an oversight since SFU does have a downtown campus in Vanocuver, I don't think Royal Roads has a Victoria campus). The point of this is to bring clarification and accuracy to the article, not to get it roughly right. --maclean25 07:42, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
