Royal Tongan Airlines

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Royal Tongan Airlines, formerly the Friendly Island Airways, was the national carrier of Tonga until liquidation in 2004. A government agency, it provided interisland services linking Tongatapu with 'Eua, Ha'apai, Vava'u and Niuas, and international Boeing 757 routes to Honolulu, Hawai'i, United States; Sydney, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; Nadi, Fiji; and Niue. Royal Tongan Airlines domestic services were soon replaced by Peau Vava'u.
