Royal Motor Car

Royal Motor Car Company was a manufacturer of Brass Era automobiles in Cleveland, Ohio.

The 1904 Royal 16-H.P. Tourist was a touring car model. Equipped with a tonneau, it could seat 5 passengers and sold for US$2300. The vertically-mounted water-cooled straight-2, situated at the front of the car, produced 16 hp (11.9 kW). A 3-speed sliding transmission was fitted. The pressed steel-framed car weighed 1700 lb (771 kg). A modern cellular radiator was used, and the car rivaled the offerings of cross-town rival, Peerless.
