The Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske), is a medium-sized teaching hospital situated in Treliske on the outskirts of Truro, Cornwall. The hospital is used for clinical training of medical students from the Peninsula Medical School which is maintained by the University of Plymouth and the University of Exeter.

The Royal Cornwall Hospital is one of three main hospitals operated by the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust (RCHT), the others being at St Michael's Hospital, Hayle and West Cornwall Hospital, Penzance.

1998 saw the official opening of the £27 million Trelawny Wing - the largest ever single investment in health care in Cornwall. This was the culmination of six years of planning and development by the Trust and marks the completion of the District General Hospital for Cornwall. The Wing ensures facilities in Cornwall are equal to those found in any of the other District General Hospitals in the country.[1]
