[edit] Test template

Hey. Please remember to place the {{test}} template on user talk pages only. Thanks. --malathion talk 04:54, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

Sorry. I'll remember that next time. cheese-cube 04:56, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] NPA

I have deleted User:Shane Lively because it is a blatant attack page in violation of Wikipedia policy. In reviewing your edits, it appears that prior to creating that page you engaged in useful contributions to Wikipedia. I strongly advise you to return to productive editing and not make any further personal attacks. Adding such content to Wikipedia is vandalism and if it continues, will result in a vandalism block. -- Essjay · Talk 14:32, August 3, 2005 (UTC)

I am of the opinion that User:Shane Lively is a sockpuppet account utilized for vandalism and personal attacks, and after investigating the contribution history, am inclined to believe you are the puppet master. Please be aware that we have the capablility to determine the IP address of registered users. I strongly advise that no further activities of this sort take place. Be aware: This is your final warning, if you or any of your sockpuppets revives the Shane Lively issue, you will be blocked for vandalism. -- Essjay · Talk 06:04, August 4, 2005 (UTC)

I would just like to clarify the situation regarding the account User:Shane Lively. This was a practical joke against an associate who goes to my school. Someone told me about it and I decided to start contributing to it and maintaing it. I have learnt from from my mistakes and I won't do it again. But contributing to it is the only thing I did. I never created the account and have never had access to it. Vandalising is something I would never do. I will make inquiries at my school about the issue in order to sort it out. So again, I never accessed the account and never used it to vandalise other pages. Thankyou. --cheese-cube 07:56, 4 August 2005 (UTC)

I am willing to accept your assurances. Be aware, however, that this sort of practical joke is no appropriate for Wikipedia, as it wastes server resources and the time of other contributors (including the admins who must clean up the mess). I apprecaite your offer to inquire further; please do spread the word that we won't allow this sort of thing. I will remove the sockpuppet template from User:Shane Lively. As I said originally, I've reviewed your contributions and you appear to be a good faith editor outside this particular episode, and I look forward to seeing you back to soild good faith contributing. Good luck, and thank you for your honesty and assistance. -- Essjay · Talk 08:02, August 4, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] leetspeak and krad

You reverted my edit, which was not a test, as you assumed. I was not able to find the term "k-rad" in Wikipedia anywhere. I found the entry under leetspeak. I'm sorry if this is not the appropriate forum to contact you in.

[edit] Lido

I'm not too sure what you're on about. --cheese-cube 11:13, 11 August 2005 (UTC)

See http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Lido&action=history

[edit] Nintendo 64

Not too sure how much you know about Nintendo 64, but the edit placed was correcting mistakes about Nintendo 64 titles having higher geometry counts ('polygons'), when in fact Nintendo 64 titles on the whole were lower in poly count and had less texturing. This is easily researched.

Ok, I understand. The edit you made merely looked like a piece of cheeky vandalism. In future I'll check the edits more closely before deeming them as vandalism. --cheese-cube 23:57, 13 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Willetton SHS IP

I'm annoyed that you removed my comments about the ownership of our IP address and replaced them with incorrect information. The information you put up was wrong, and you removed the correct information that I had put up.

I don't know where you got you're information from: mine came from Mr. Dutton.

Please don't do not change people's comments: it is vandalism.

Furthurmore, the ensuing correction by Drew Devereux brought the school, as well as you and me into disrepute. Dstudent 03:55, 30 August 2005 (UTC)

  • I accept your apology on my talk page. I also apologise for the accusation of vandalism on the WSHS IP talk page. I have removed it. Next time I will be more careful in what I say. Dstudent 08:48, 30 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Eva/EVA

In regard to the whole Eva/EVA thing, I intend to have them all conform to these unspoken rules: 1. If it's not talking about any particular unit, it's "Eva," and 2. if it's referring to a specific one, it's "EVA," as in "EVA-01."

I just haven't gotten around to changing them all yet. Toiletduck

[edit] Prog Knife clear-up

Regarding your revert of an edit I wrote for the prog knife, please read the talk page and tell me what you think. Talk:Neon_Genesis_Evangelion_glossary#Prog_Knife_clear-up

[edit] Closet User

[edit] putting this in the right place

Rowan, if you made better edits noone would fix them. You can split your signature up like others (including me) have done, to include your talk page, to make it easier to contact you. Brian Jason Drake 08:44, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Evangelion articles

Yes, I will change "children" to "child" because what ADV/VIZ/etc did was intentional. I am well aware of what GAINAX did. And as they say, Jimmy Cracked corn....

This is the English Wikipedia. We conform to English standards. WhisperToMe 16:59, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Not many good songs

can't believe your listening to The Who, it's so dull and boring. Kinda like 60s country, very very dull and boring. Can't believe your actually listening to it, it's like My Generation is not ours, and Teenage Wasteland, you're apart of it! The only decent modernised song is Who Are You, but we've heard that so many times on CSI! Think with your head Rowan, not with majority! Darkroom Danny 08:52, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Cc border.gif

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Cc border.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 14:45, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nuclear weapons cleanup run

Thanks for going through these; the articles have suffered a little from too much of the same people looking at them too long. Georgewilliamherbert 02:53, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

An infobox would be useful. Let me know when you get around to it and I'll be happy to help review it etc. Georgewilliamherbert 18:03, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removed Redundant Link

You removed a link on the Something for kate page. This link was not redundant, but a valid fansite on the topic. This link has been readded. -- Erotic sock 02:04, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
