Rowan Ayers

Rowan Ayers was a producer of BBC's Line-Up [1] [2] and Late Night Line-Up in the 1960s. He lated moved to Australia where he wrote and narrated a TV documentary The Dead Sea Scrolls [3]. Rowan launched The Beatles last recorded album Abbey Road on his show Late Night Line Up. They gave him what is known as The Last Memento Of The Beatles as a gift being a large autographed picture cartoon from Maxwell's Silver Hammer. He co-authored two books, Australian Film, Television & Radio School Guide to Video Production (Allen & Unwin (Jun 1990) - 272 Pages - ISBN 0-04-442165-6) and Guide to Video Production (Allen & Unwin (Feb 1992) - 280 Pages - ISBN 0-64216895-4 ) He is the father of Kevin Ayers.
