Routine

Routine may be a reference to one of the following:

  • Patterns of living among people are studied in Ethnomethodology. Routines studied can be as mundane as when, how often, and how people wash their hair, drive their cars, and conversational and talk-related issues such as the use of interjections, uttering uhm and hm and so on;
  • See also cycle or List of cycles;
  • A piece of computer code that handles a task is called a routine. See Subroutine for a computer-related definition;
  • A stand-up comedian's act, or part of an act, is referred to as a routine;
  • Routine, the first of four stories in the second issue of the Star Wars Tales series .
