Roulé
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The French record label Roulé was founded in 1995 by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk fame. The name Roulé comes from a Daft Punk track called Rollin' & Scratchin'. There exists a sister label called Scratché, which has had only one release to date by the Buffalo Bunch (Raw Man and Play Paul) who now release on the Crydamoure and We Rock Music labels.
Roulé's fifth release Stardust's "Music Sounds Better With You" single reached number one in the dance charts in most European countries. Stardust members were Benjamin Diamond on vocals, Alan Braxe for music and Thomas Bangalter with production. It contains a sample of Chaka Khan's "Fate".
