Rotherham is a Parliamentary constituency covering Rotherham. It is considered a safe Labour seat and has been represented by Denis MacShane since the 1994 by-election.

Rotherham constituency is one of three borough constituencies in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. It borders the constituencies of Rother Valley, Sheffield Attercliffe, Sheffield Brightside, Sheffield Hillsborough, and Wentworth.
