Rotex is an international organization open only to Rotary "rebounds", or former Rotary International Youth Exchange students. While Rotex is only a relatively new concept, Rotex clubs are appearing rapidly around the globe and there are now Rotex clubs in most of the countries that participate in Rotary Youth Exchange. Rotex is active in many local community projects, but one main objective of Rotex is to help local "outbounds" (future Rotary Youth Exchange students) prepare for their exchanges abroad and also help their local "inbounds" (foreign Rotary Youth Exchange students) get comfortable with their surroundings and schools in their host countries.
