[edit] Summary

This picture is released into the public domain.

It was taken from a German website. http://www.rafinfo.de/archiv/index.php (click on "RAF-logo")

At the bottom of the aforementiond page, it says "Wichtig: Du kannst das hier angebotene Material verwenden wie du möchtest. Bei der Verwendung von Bildern in anderen Webseiten, Foren oder ähnlichem kopiere die Bilder bitte auf deinen eigenen Webserver anstatt direkt auf die Bilder hier zu verlinken!"

Which translates to (I speak German) "Important: You can use the materials offered here however you like. When using the pictures on other websites, forums and such, copy the pictures to your own webserver please, instead of directly linking to the images here!"

This would qualify for a release into the public domain, or at least it is being allowed to be used by the author for any purpose, which would fulfill the requirements for wikipedia usage.

This picture was deleted once after a misunderstanding and Fred Chess (the admin) said it should be restored. See the talk page for User:Ich on wiki commons.

Even people on the German wikipedia locally re-uploaded the same image after the wikicommons deleted it. You'd think if anybody would "know" what would be right about something coming from a German website regarding a German subject, it would be the Germans. Even look at "threshhold of originality" and you'll see this obviously qualifies as usable. For Christ's sake, it's also the logo of an organisation.

Please don't delete this again.
