Rosscarbery is a small scenic town in West Cork, with an interest in Gaelic Football and underage hurling.

In 2003, Carbery Rangers won the Junjior A County Football Final for the first time in their 116 years history.

In 2004 they won a Munster Title and reached th eAll-Ireland Club Final, in Castleblaney in Monaghan. In 2005, the won the Intermediate grade, and achieved Senior status, also winning a second Munster Title in a row, a record. They reached the All-Ireland Semi Final again.

Their minor team is also very successful. Underage hurling is growing in interest.
