Ross G Smith (born 8 September 1942) is a former Australian rules footballer in the VFL.
Smith played with St Kilda as a courageous rover.
Height: 173 cm, Weight: 75 kg.
Won the Brownlow medal in 1967. Broke his arm smothering a ball in the late sixties; captained the side in the early seventies
Inducted to the Saints inaugural Hall of Fame in 2003, and chosen as first rover in St Kilda's Team of the Century.
Coached Subiaco, Western Australia to a premiership in 1972.
