The Ross R. Barnett Reservoir is a reservoir on the Pearl River in the U.S. state of Mississippi. Named for Ross R. Barnett, the 52nd Governor of Mississippi, it was created by impounding the Pearl between Madison and Rankin Counties. It has 105 miles of shoreline and is bounded on the west by the historic Natchez Trace.
