Roseneath, Ontario

Roseneath is a hamlet in the township of Alnwick-Haldimand in Northumberland County in central Ontario, Canada. Settlers first arrived in the area in the 1830s, and named the community after Rosneath in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The annual fall fair features a fully restored 1906 C.W. Parker carousel, which was declared to be a national historic landmark. Roseneath has close ties to the Alderville First Nation located immediately to the south.
