Rosedale World War I Memorial Arch

The Rosedale Arch is a replica of the Arc de Triomphe dedicated to the men of Kansas City, Kansas who served in World War I. The monument was designed by John LeRoy Marshall, a Rosedale resident, and dedicated in 1924. Located on Mount Marty in Rosedale, in Kansas City, the low-lit arch is best seen at night from around the corner of Rainbow Boulevard and Southwest Boulevard.
Another monument was added under the arch in 1993 to honor the soldiers of World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War.
