It contains a Czech translation of an earlier medieval Latin alchemic tract titled Rosarium philosophorum. Its author is Jaroš Griemiller z Trebska. It is notable for the high artistic value of its miniatures, which is unusual for manuscripts of its type. It is kept in the National Library of Prague, Czech Republic.
