Rosa filipes is a rose species native to China ). The species is an climbing shrub, 3–5 m, with long repent branches. Prickles scattered, curved. Leaves sparsely glandular-pubescent with (3-)5-7(-9) leaflets. Flowers 25-30 in a corymb, 2-2,5 cm in diameter, white, fragrant. Hips deep red. Flowers in mid to late summer.
Roadsides and thickets. 1300-2300 m.
Makes a beautiful garden plant.
