Rosa Farrell (ローザ・ファレル Rōza Fareru?) is a fictional character from the Square Co., Ltd. RPG Final Fantasy IV for the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo Entertainment System). She grew up in Baron with Cecil Harvey and Kain Highwind. While Cecil became a Dark Knight and Kain became a Dragoon, Rosa became an expert in white magic and archery. As a White Mage, she heals Baron's sick and wounded. Her reasons for becoming a White Mage revolve around her romantic feelings for Cecil. Just as her mother and father fought alongside each other, she wishes to fight alongside a Dark Knight.
At the beginning of the tale, Cecil meets Rosa in the Castle of Baron, but only for a brief moment. This occurs before Cecil and Kain go on their journey to deliver the Bomb Ring to the summoner village of Mist. Though Cecil and Kain had not anticipated it, the entire village was destroyed by the Bomb Ring they delivered. Soon they face even more problems when one of the village's residents, Rydia, summons a Titan, which creates another earthquake.
After hearing about the trouble in Mist, Rosa immediately departs Baron in search for Cecil. When crossing the Kaipo Desert, she comes down with desert fever. Soon, Cecil finds Rosa in Kaipo. He learns that the only way to save her is by obtaining the Sand Ruby in Antlion Cave. Soon after, Cecil - along with Rydia and Edward Chris von Muir the Bard - rescue her with the Ruby.
Then the party of four embarks to keep the four Light Crystals safe and out of the hands of evil. Soon after Rosa joins, the party rescues Yang Fang Leiden the Monk from an ambush on Mount Hobs. He decides to accompany the party to the kingdom of Fabul. When Cecil, Edward, and Yang defend the Crystal of Air from Baron's evil forces, they soon encounter Kain, who has become evil and wipes them out. After this, he kidnaps Rosa and takes her to the Tower of Zot.
To get Rosa back, Cecil must give Kain the Earth Crystal from the Magnetic Cavern. After obtaining this, Cecil, along with Tellah, Yang, and Baron's engineer Cid Pollendina, go to the Tower of Zot. When Tellah gives his own life to weaken Golbez's mind-control powers on Kain, Rosa and Kain join the party once again.
Rosa remains in the party for the rest of the game and eventually, with Cecil, Kain, and Rydia, faces of against the evil Zemus on the moon - who was using Golbez and Kain as his own puppets to conquer the world. It is interesting to note that Rosa is the character whom travels with Cecil the longest of all the characters who come and go.

[edit] Skills
[edit] Aim
If she is equipped with a bow, the Aim ability can boost the power of her arrows and increase her accuracy to 100%.
[edit] Pray
The Pray command heals all allies without using any MP. This ability is upgraded to Miracle after finishing Rosa's Lunar Trial in the Gameboy Advance version which allows her to restore more HP and has a chance of using a combination of Curaga and Esuna effects on the entire group instead of the regular Pray. Not included in the first North American version (because of the possible religious reference).
[edit] White Magic
By using the White command, Rosa can select any of the white magic spells she has learned. Some examples are Cure, Esuna, Life, and Rosa's only attack magic, Holy (White in initial English translations).
