The Roque Chico de Salmor Giant Lizard (Gallotia simonyi simonyi) was a subspecies of the El Hierro Giant Lizard (Gallotia simonyi). It was once present on the small offshore Roque Chico de Salmor of the island of El Hierro in the Canary Islands (Spain).

This subspecies was extirpated from the Roque Chico de Salmor in the 1930s through the overcollection of animals for scientific institutions and commercial interests. The Roque Chico de Salmor is now a protected area and the surviving subspecies, Gallotia simonyi machadoi (El Hierro Giant Lizard), was successfully introduced to the Roque Chico de Salmor in 1999.
