- You're so very welcome! If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. There wasn't anything wrong with your message. The only thing we ask is that you sign posts on talk pages and votes (not in articles) with ~~~~; when you do that, the software automatically converts it into your username and the date (for you, it would look like this: Ron Stoppable 09:01, July 18, 2005 (UTC)) and we can easily see who left what message and when they left it. (Plus, it leaves a link to your page so we can get back to you quickly.) You can also use three to just sign your username, or five to just sign the date, but four is the usual method. I hope you love the site as much as I do, and if you have any problems, let me know! -- Essjay · Talk 09:01, July 18, 2005 (UTC)
- (Also, I removed some comments from your user page; if you have any questions about it, leave me a note and I'll explain. -- Essjay · Talk)
Yep, that was exactly what to do! We do track all edits (look at the link at the top of the page that says "history") but its much easier on talk pages & votes to use a signature. (For example, I had seven or eight notes on my page this morning; if I had to check the history to see who said what, it would take a lot longer. That's why the developers created the signature shortcut.) As for the deal with your page, there was a very troubled young man who was pretending he had a disabled brother and using that persona to vandalize pages. The situation has been remedied now. Anyhow, if you have any further questions, just let me know. (And, I won my RfA, so if you need any administrator help, I can do that too.) -- Essjay · Talk 14:32, July 21, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Paper Mario
I removed your additions to the story section. While it all was very good writing, we have had more comprehensive rundowns of the story there before, but they were pared down to what you currently see in the interest of keeping things readable and making sure we only have what we need. For the most part, COMPLETE story summaries are far too long for the wiki's purposes, and a plot synopsis will do. --InShaneee 18:06, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Trreturns rmeowth.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Trreturns rmeowth.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:06, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] HxH names
Hey,
sorry to bother you.
Just wondering if you could come by the hxh talk page and drop a comment here regarding the ViZ vs. Scanlation names deal.
The big long discussion i had with Mr.Toto about this is sort grinding to a standstill, so we'd really appreciate some third opinions. --`/aksha 10:42, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
