Ronnie Patterson

Ronnie Patterson, sometimes also credited as Ronnie Pettersin, was a tall, thin, balding and moustached B-movie character actor.
Patterson had a short but prolific career in Filipino low-budget action movies during the 1980s, often directed by Teddy Page or John Gale (director) and produced by K.Y. Lim's Silver Star Film Company (also called Kinavesa in the Philippines).
Many of his film appearances were very brief, with credits like "Guy #1" or "Marijuana Runner #6". Some were uncredited. He had his biggest role playing a deputy in the company of B-movie veteran Richard Harrison and prolific Filipino exploitation actors Mike Monty and Bruce Baron, in Fireback, directed by Teddy Page. Some of Patterson's other larger parts were in the Philippines-shot Italian Vietnam war film Tornado (1983), directed by Antonio Margheriti, in Silk (1986), directed by Cirio H. Santiago, and in the Rambo-esque actioner Slash (1984), directed by John Gale.
Patterson vanished from the screen in the late-1980s, his last acting credit being the 1987 film Demon Of Paradise by Cirio H. Santiago. According to an interview of Nick Nicholson on the French B-movie site Nanarland, he was of Canadian origin and returned home after retiring from film.
