Roncalli High School (Wisconsin)

Roncalli High School is a Catholic high school located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and owned by the Diocese of Green Bay. Founded in 1965, Roncalli is named for Pope John XXIII, Angelo Giuseppi Roncalli. The school's mascot is the Jets, and their gymnasium is known as the Hangar. There rival is the Two Rivers Raiders. They are a Division 3 school in WIAA and recently appeared in the state tournament for boys basketball in 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons. They also appeared in the state tournament for Tennis and Lindsey Balzan and Chelsea Stangel were state champions for Division 2 doubles. Roncalli is also a Fine Arts School that has excelled in both the vocal and instrumental arts. Roncalli High School put on the musical Les Miserables in 2006 and will be doing Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat in 2007.
