Ron Rinehart is the lead vocalist of Dark Angel. He entered in the band in 1988, after the original vocalist, Don Dotty, left the band to take care of his own job.

He quit this band in 1992 and formed a band with Eric Meyer (guitarrist of Dark Angel) called Hunger which released a three tracks demo in 1993.

He joined the christian thrash metal band Oil.

Recently, he reunited with the old band mates of Dark Angel, but they had to make a break because he have some health problems.
