Ronja light beam as observed from a point on the other side of the datalink track. The beam is generated by a single high-output LED with a 13cm glass lens. The beam looks impressive. It is because it's night and because the light from the LED is concentrated into a narrow beam. The beam is about 4 meters wide in 1km distance. If you walk few steps from the oberver point, the bright light vanishes. The place is Prostejov, Czech Republic. (c) GFDL pvfree.net.
