Romero Britto

Romero Britto (b. 1963, Brazil) is a pop painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. Britto's first exhibition was at the Organization of American States in Brasilia in In 1979. He opened his gallery in South Florida in 1987. In 1989, he was commisioned by Absolut Vodka to join their showcase of artists, which included Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha, and other [[pop art|pop artists]. This

In the years since the Absolut commission, has received commissions from major corporations for large-scale murals, sculptures and product logos, as well as portrait commissions from celebrities.
