The current Cabinet of the Government of Romania is comprised of 22 ministers, listed below:
- Prime Minister Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu
- State Minister in charge with the coordination of activities in the economic field - vacant (*);
- State Minister in charge with coordination of the activities in the field of culture, education and European integration - Béla Markó;
- State Minister in charge with coordination of the activities in the field of business environment and small and medium-sized enterprises - vacant (*);
- Minister of Justice - Monica Macovei;
- Minister of Public Finance - Sebastian Vlădescu;
- Minister of Labor, Social Solidarity and Family - Gheorghe Barbu;
- Minister of European Integration - Anca Boagiu;
- Minister of Foreign Affairs - Mihai Răzvan Ungureanu;
- Minister of Administration and the Interior - Vasile Blaga;
- Minister of Economy and Commerce - Varujan Vosganian;
- Minister of National Defence - Sorin Frunzăverde;
- Minister of Agriculture, Forests and Rural Development - Dan Motreanu;
- Minister of Transportation, Constructions and Tourism - Radu Berceanu;
- Minister of Education and Research - Mihail Hărdău;
- Minister of Culture and Religious Affairs - Adrian Iorgulescu;

- Minister delegate in charge with the control of the implementation of the internationally financed programs and the supervision of the enforcement of Acquis Communautaire - Cristian David;
- Minister Delegate for the Relation with the Parliament - Mihai Alexandru Voicu;
- Minister Delegate for the coordination for public works and territory management - Laszlo Borbely;
- Minister Delegate for Commerce - Iuliu Winkler.
(*) This portfolios will remain vacant until the cabinet will be reshaped (remanierea Guvernului in Romanian), as the Democratic Party wishes to reduce the number of ministers. They have renounced their State Ministers.
The cabinet includes 10 PNL ministers, 7 PD ministers, 4 UDMR ministers, and an independent. Two Conservative ministers left in December 2006 when their party quit the government. Three ministers are female and eighteen are male.
