The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ballarat (Latin: Dioecesis Ballaratensis) is a diocese in Victoria, Australia. Bishop since 1997 is Peter Joseph Connors.

The diocese was erected on March 30 1874 with territory from the Diocese of Melbourne. The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
