Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Montreal

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Montréal (Archdioecesis Marianopolitanis in Latin) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese that includes part of the Province of Quebec and includes the suffragan dioceses of Joliette, Saint-Jean-Longueuil, Saint-Jérôme, and Valleyfield. It is currently led by Archbishop Jean-Claude Turcotte, with auxiliary bishops André Gazaille, Lionel Gendron, and Anthony Mancini.

As of 2004, the archdiocese contains 219 parishes, 584 active diocesan priests, 699 religious priests, and 1,600,000 Catholics. It also has 4,702 Women Religious, 1,179 Religious Brothers, and 103 permanent deacons.
