Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston in Jamaica

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston in Jamaica is a Roman Catholic archdiocese that includes parts of Jamaica, with the see city in Kingston. It is currently led by Archbishop Lawrence Aloysius Burke.
As of 2004, the diocese contains 32 parishes, 22 active diocesan priests, 25 religious priests, and 56,000 Catholics. It also has 116 Women Religious, 134 Religious Brothers, and 20 permanent deacons.
The archdiocese is the metropolitan see of the Kingston ecclesiastical province. The archbishop has limited oversight of the province's suffragen dioceses, including Belize City-Belmopan, Mandeville, Montego Bay, and the mission sui iuris of the Cayman Islands. The archdiocese and its suffragen dioceses are members of the Antilles Episcopal Conference.
