Rolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 60 km northwest of Bologna and about 25 km northeast of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,848 and an area of 14.0 km2.[1]

The municipality of Rolo contains the frazione (subdivision) Ronchi.

Rolo borders the following municipalities: Carpi, Fabbrico, Moglia, Novi di Modena, Reggiolo.
