Rolltop

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A rolltop is a type of cross-country jump with a rounded appearance. Rolltops may be quite wide at the upper levels. The obstacles often govern respect from the horse, but are often not considered a "scary" fence for horses on course [1].

Rolltops are also used in show jumping, or in the hunters, generally split in half so the rounded appearance is only from the front and flattened on the back. Usually, these rolltops are covered with artificial grass to appear more natural.
