Rollings Middle School of the Arts

R.H. Rollings Middle School of the Arts (RMSA) teaches grades six to eight in Summerville, South Carolina. It has been ranked in the top five creative schools in the United States and has been rated "excellent" every year by the South Carolina Department of Education. RMSA has six main core areas: visual arts, vocal, theater arts, dance, piano, and strings. The mission of R. H. Rollings Middle School of the Arts is to provide its students, future members of a global community, with an integrated curriculum that develops maximum academic potential through creative expression and exploration of the arts. As of 2006 its current population is 632 children ranging from the ages of 11-14.
