Rollin 60 Neighborhood Crips

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Rollin 60 Neighborhood Crip is a street gang based out of Los Angeles, California. In 1976, the Rollin' 60's formed as a faction of the original Crip gang, the Westside Crips. They claim the Hyde Park and Crenshaw areas of Los Angeles, and the young 60's attend Crenshaw High along with the Rollin 40's Neighborhood Crip which is ironically located in the enemy Bloods territory of the Van Ness Gangster Brims (VNG). The 60's along with the other Neighborhood Crips of Los Angeles make up the "Hoodsta" alliance. The 60's and other "Hoodstas" are rival to the Eight Trey Gangster Crips, all Bloods especially the WestSide Brims or Inglewood Bloods, the Hoover Criminal Gang(formerly Hoover Crip), and any Crip gang that identifies as 3X's(Trey's) and has an alliance with the Eight Trey Gangster Crips.

They became notorious when it was revealed that members of the Rollin' 60 had been implicated in the murders of Kermit Alexander's family, an all-American football icon.[1]

According to the L.A. Daily News, Rollin 60 Neighborhood Crips is "the one of largest black criminal street gang in the City of Los Angeles with over 1,100 active members - [2]
