Rolesville is a town in Wake County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 907 at the 2000 census.

Rolesville is located at 35°55′26″N, 78°27′40″W (35.923873, -78.461029)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.2 km² (1.6 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 2312 people, 673 households, and 565 families residing in the town. The population density was 214.8/km² (557.4/mi²). There were 384 housing units at an average density of 91.0/km² (236.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 84.01% White, 8.49% African American, 0.22% Native American, 0.44% Asian, 5.73% from other races, and 1.10% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.95% of the population.

There were 673 households out of which 35.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.3% were married couples living together, 7.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.9% were non-families. 20.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 2.94.

In the town the population was spread out with 25.4% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 33.1% from 25 to 44, 22.9% from 45 to 64, and 11.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 105.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.7 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $46,838, and the median income for a family was $57,813. Males had a median income of $41,932 versus $24,018 for females. The per capita income for the town was $21,092. About 10.9% of families and 12.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 20.8% of those under age 18 and 3.4% of those age 65 or over.
