Roland XP-30

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Roland XP-30 is a 61-key, 64 voice expandable synthesizer. It includes three SR-JV80 expansion cards: Session, Techno and Orchestral and has two additional SR-JV80 slots.

The Roland XP-30 lacks an internal sequencer and is therefore not able to function as a workstation like its older brothers(the XP-50, XP-60 and XP-80)

With a standard set of sounds over 1400, the XP-30 is considered to be a synth with a great amount of sounds for its time. Additionally, its keyboard has a decent quality, comparably with some old electric pianos. And its weight and size makes it a portable solution comparably best to the Korg Triton LE 61
