Roland Scholten

Roland Scholten (born January 11, 1965 in The Hague) is a Dutch darts player and former publican who, with partner Raymond Van Barneveld, won the PDC World Pairs Darts Championship at Bognor Regis in 1997. He is nicknamed "Tripod" and now plays his darts for the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) having turned full time professional in 2001.

Scholten won the Budweiser UK Open in June 2004, his first major PDC trophy. His scoring and consistent technique have led others to refer to him as a major threat in recent years. A "poker faced" player, he is known somewhat for his lack of emotion on the oche.

Scholten reached the final of the 2006 Holsten Pils Premier League Darts, and is ranked 7th in the PDC.
