Roland DuPree Dance Academy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Roland Dupree had a major dance center in Hollywood on Fairfax Avenue. It drew interested dancers from around the world to study there because a lot of the teachers worked in the television, stage, and film industry. Joe Bennett, Carol Connor, Jacqui and Bill Landrum, Joe Tremaine, Hama, and countless other teachers springboarded their successful dance academies from Dupree Dance Academy. Roland Dupree sold his business in the early 1980s and has since been hosting dance conventions around the country with Dupree Dance Expo [1]
