Roland Adams

Roland Adams was a 15 year old black youth from London who was murdered in 1991. The attack was racially motivated, with Adams dying as a result of a stab wound to the neck after being attacked by a gang of fifteen white youths. At the time the BNP publicly congratulated the murderers for "defending their estate" in leaflets distributed around the area, and Adams' father received "abusive phone calls, up to ten times a night"[1] and in the end was forced to move house.
Marches were arranged in Adams' memory to promote black rights, and were attended by Stephen Lawrence[2], who had known Adams.
