Roger Schweitz

The Most Rev. Roger Schwietz is the current archbishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Anchorage, Alaska. He attracted the attention of traditionalist Roman Catholics in August 2005 when he refused to permit Andrew Szymakowski, a 32-year-old priest and member of the FSSP, to celebrate a Traditional Latin Mass at his parish assignment within the diocese.
